On 6th May 2010 is the official opening of the project Better with the opening of exhibition.
Better is a project supported by by Design Center Bologna and Sprint (regional office in charge of the internationalization of enterprises of the Emilia-Romagna region). The project aims to stimulate a final exchange of knowledge between Italian and Chinese stakeholders. It takes part of the events organized at the Tongji University of Shanghai in which the Region also organizes for the Expo 2010 Shanghai.
The exhibition is the result of a workshop developed by students of the course in Design Management of Fine Arts Bologna, followed by IT Frames and Design Center Bologna. The result of close collaboration with the company is a concept design project that identifies innovative scenarios for housing spaces used for recreational use. The so called Italian “cantina” or “tavernetta” where you gather along with friends and keep valuable food. The theme was suggested by It Frames Group in order to identify the guidelines for the future collaboration with international markets, including the Chinese one, where the company already operates. The key concepts are related to the issue of taste, art, design and music, which is the typical idea of Made in Italy.
The concept, apart from describing the specific project will promote the technical expertise of the company
focusing on the technique which, combined with aesthetics, are the fundamental values of the industrial
tradition of Emilia Romagna and Italy. An issue on which will be held a workshop organized with the College
of Design & Innovation at Tongji University and will also involve the executives of IT Frames Group.
